INITIAL CONSULTATION AGREEMENT

INITIAL CONSULTATION AGREEMENT

This Initial Consultation Agreement is made between the Client (as entered in the First Name and Last Name in the booking tool) and a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant Baiba Elstina (the “RCIC”) Membership number: #R709208 of BE IMMIGRATION CONSULTING Inc.


The RCIC is a member in good standing with the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC),  and as such, is bound by its By-laws, The Code of Professional Ethics , and Regulations.


Purpose of the Consultation:

  • for us to learn about you and your particular immigration needs, based on the information you provide 
  •  to identify your options, and, to the extent possible, analyze the costs and benefits of those alternatives 
  •  to help you determine your course of action, if any 


Scope of Service

In consideration of the fees paid for the appointment by the Client, the RCIC agrees to do the following:

  1. Collect information from the Client regarding his/her immigration matter
  2. Offer a one-time consultation via Zoom
  3.  Answer your questions to the best of our ability 


The Client understands that RCIC or BE IMMIGRATION CONSULTING INC. does NOT provide employment-related services, including job opportunities or assistance regarding finding and securing employment.


NOTE:

  • This session might be recorded for quality assurance and legal purposes. 
  • The consultation has a time limit (as specified per service you choose)


The RCIC can not guarantee that the Client will meet requirements for any immigration programs.


Client responsibility

The client must provide RCIC with factual information or documentation as required for RCIC to perform the consultation.


The client must be accurate and honest when providing details. Failure to fully disclose all relevant information to RCIC will impact the advice given by RCIC and may void this Agreement.


It is Client's responsibility to check all emails and/or WhatsApp messages from BE IMMIGRATION CONSULTING INC.


It is Client's responsibility to match the time zone for the appointment. We are located in Toronto, Ontario and follow Eastern time (Canada and US).


Confidentiality

All information and documents you provide us at the Initial Consultation will remain strictly confidential, except as authorized by you or otherwise required by law. 


Advice current on the date of consultation

The advice provided is valid at the time when it is given and is based on the information provided to RCIC.  The RCIC can not be held accountable for any change in Canadian government legislation or policy that might impact any subsequent Client's application.


Cancellation and refund 

If you cannot attend our meeting as scheduled, you must notify us at least 48 hours in advance. Appointments can be re-scheduled by emailing us at latest 48 hours of the scheduled appointment time and date.


No refund will be issued for cancellations within 48 hours of your consultation.


No refunds will be issued after the consultation takes place.


No refunds will be issued for no-shows, late entry to the meeting or Client-side issues (including, but not limited to, technical/network problems or time-zone confusion).


Unused time will not be credited to the Client.


Zero Tolerance Policy

Rude, insulting or any kind of offensive behavior will not be tolerated under any circumstances, via email, phone or during a virtual meeting. In occurrence of such instances BE IMMIGRATION CONSULTATION INC. reserves the right to remove you from any event in advance with no refund provided.


After the consultation

Following the initial consultation, if we determine that there is a chance for your application to succeed [or a pathway for your matter] and if you wish to proceed with our services within 7 (seven) business days, 100% of the consultation fee will be credited towards the Service Agreement.


Signatures

Both parties agree that this Agreement does not require physical or electronical signatures, and the Agreement comes into effect once Client completes appointment booking  and pays the consultation fee.


By paying the fee through the booking tool the Client Agrees that she/he has read this Initial Consultation Agreement thoroughly  and agreed to terms and conditions outlined.


This Agreement shall be governed by the laws in effect in the Province of Ontario and the Federal Laws of Canada applicable therein.


IN THE WITNESS THEREOF, this Agreement has been duly by the parties on the scheduled consultation time and date.
